US-31 resurfacing begins Monday in
Oceana and Mason counties
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation is investing $5.5 million to resurface approximately 4.5 miles of US-31 from south of the Oceana/Mason county line to north of Meisenheimer Road. Work also includes drainage improvements and new guardrail.

Lane closures will be in effect throughout the project. Southbound US-31 will be closed at S. Pere Marquette Highway (Exit 166) for approximately two weeks and traffic detoured south onto Pere Marquette Highway to the Oceana Drive/US-31 interchange. During this two week closure, the northbound US-31 ramp to Pere Marquette Highway will also be closed.
