Our DPW team will be starting the Fall flushing of water mains later this week. This will take place during the early hours of Thursday, August 31st and Friday, September 1st.

The water main flushing will begin approximately at 12:00 a.m. (midnight), running until 6:00 a.m. on both Thursday and Friday.  We are hoping to complete the process for the southern portion of the Township on Thursday, as well as some northern portions of the Township. Friday, the focus will be on the remaining northern sections of the Township.

This process will improve the water quality throughout the water systems. During, and shortly after the process, there may be some discoloration or sediment in the water. The water discoloration is due to mineral deposits that are flushed through the system and there are no health hazards with the discolored water.
