The Pere Marquette Charter Township Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. at the Pere Marquette Township Hall, 1699 S. Pere Marquette Hwy., Ludington, MI.  The Board will hear a request from Thomas and Gail Kowalski for a variance to Article I. In General, Sec. 109-7 Nonconforming uses, buildings and lots, Item (a.) 4, of the Zoning Ordinance to enlarge, alter or extend a nonconforming structure for the purpose of extending the length of an existing covered porch by three feet, adding a ten square foot roof overhang on the north side and adding a gable-end roof form over the existing roof on the south side.  The property is located within Linlook Cottages Cooperative Inc. at 995 N. Lakeshore Dr., Unit #3, Ludington, MI; Parcel number 53-010-600-004-005-03.
