Become a Pere Marquette Firefighter
Inquiries about joining the the PM Township Fire Department should be directed to Fire Chief, Larry Gaylord. Requirements for consideration:
- Your job +/or residence within 5 miles of the Fire Station
- The Fire Chief's recommendation to the Township Board for your hire, and Board approval
- Satisfactory physical exam including drug screen
- Satisfactory background check
- Commitment to attend meetings and classes, study for certifications, etc
- Willingness to uphold all Fire Department Rules
