Water and Sewer Department

The Township's Water and Sewer Superintendent is Andy Larr.  Andy has been serving with the Department since 1998, and has been Superintendent since 2008.  Dennis Heffner, Bob Hannah, and Dan Healy form the rest of the Water/Sewer Department field crew.  Some of the typical duties of this department include:

  • Installation and maintenance of water and sewer lines
  • Water testing and treatment
  • Delivery/removal of meters as needed
  • Reading meters in preparation for billing
  • Working with engineers and contractors for service expansion projects
  • Sharing staff and resources with the Department of Public Works

Administration of the Water and Sewer Department is handled through the Treasurer's Office.  This Administration Department is responsible for:

  • Requests for service connection or disconnection
  • New connection documentation, processing
  • Initiation of work orders
  • Special Assessment administration
  • Billing and collections
  • Rate analysis
  • Annual budget preparation
